ON THIS DAY: Missing Olynthia Ann Harper, Syracuse, New York (September 1985)

September 20, 1985, was a day that the Harper family will never forget.

Olynthia took her two children to a friend’s house on Onondaga Street in Syracuse, New York. It was late, almost 11:00 p.m., and it is unknown why she was leaving her children with this friend that night.

Olynthia left the home, and was never seen again.

Her two children grew up without their mother, and her youngest, Moorice, was just 18 months old when his mother vanished. He would grow up without any memory of his mother.

Olynthia was last seen wearing a denim jacket and tan pants. She is a black female, stands 5’5″ and weighed around 130 pounds in 1985.

She has short brown hair and brown eyes. Olynthia was 25 years old then, and would today be 60 years old.
