Volney, N.Y. – An Oswego County deputy was killed in a two-car crash while responding to a call Wednesday morning in the town of Volney, deputies said. At 6:42 a.m. the deputy was driving through the intersection of Route 176 and Rowlee Road when the two cars collided, deputies said.
