TRAFFIC: Overnight lane closure set for I-690 East

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — I-690 East is set to be reduced to one lane in Syracuse from the I-81 North on-ramp to Exit 14 (Teall Avenue).

The closure is set to run from 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, said the New York State Department of Transportation.

This closure is necessary for striping work as part of the I-81 Viaduct Project.

Construction is weather-dependent and could change based on the conditions, the DOT said.
