A home is all but destroyed in Manlius after a house fire tore through the roof and other parts of the structure Saturday evening on Creekcrest Circle. Greg VanDyke, Deputy Chief with the Manlius Fire Department, said that the call initially came in as a report of an outdoor fire from neighbors after seeing heavy black smoke in their neighborhood. Soon after, firefighters were being dispatched to what was upgraded to a house fire, with Manlius engines joined by firefighters from Fayetteville.
