Skaneateles, N.Y. – A Central New York father menaced his daughter’s volleyball coach with a knife after the girl was benched Monday, troopers said. Nicholas F. Griesmyer, 41, of Hastings, threatened the coach at the Central Square vs. Skaneateles girl’s junior varsity volleyball game Monday night at Skaneateles High School, according to court papers filed by the New York State Police.
