Home shot after fight in southside of Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – At least one bullet was fired into a home on Syracuse’s southside on Sunday night. No one was injured. Syracuse Police say just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, officers responded to the 100 block of Richardson Avenue for a call about gunshots being fired. When police arrived, they say they located a group of individuals in a residence who reported the disturbance prior to police arrival. Witnesses reported that during an altercation, a male suspect displayed a firearm and fired at least one time, striking the residence. After the shots were fired, the suspect male fled the scene in a vehicle.
