SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — With the cut of the red ribbon, it’s a new day for future carpenters in Central New York as the renovations of the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Center (NASRCC) in Syracuse were unveiled on Wednesday, October 2.

“This milestone not only represents a significant achievement of the Syracuse Training Center but also a contribution to the economic growth and technological advancement of our state,” said Zachary Palleschi-King, the director of external affairs for the New York State Department of Labor.
The facility was originally 6,000 square feet. Now with renovations, it’s 18,000 square feet.
