A small local bank makes an expensive move in the shadow of Micron in Clay

Clay, N.Y. – A small local savings bank has decided being across the street from a massive semiconductor factory would be good for business. Seneca Savings paid $1.9 million for a 2.6-acre property at 5332 State Route 31 in Clay on Sept. 6. The site is directly across the street from where Micron Technology Inc. is planning to build a $100 billion semiconductor fabrication plant.
