The spokesperson said the closure is a result of a “comprehensive analysis of our distribution network,” and added “we’ve made the difficult but necessary business decision to close our Liverpool, NY distribution center.”
The company will transition operations currently based in Liverpool to its Perryman, MD distribution center starting in April of 2025.
Employees working through the end of the transition period will receive severance packages, outplacement support and COBRA benefits, the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson did not respond when asked how many employees will be affected.
