- North Syracuse school bus hits utility pole on East Gillette Road
Police say the bus was driving west on East Gillette Road. Due to the narrow road and the size of the bus, police say the bus drove on the shoulder of the road and then slid off the road into a ditch.
The bus then hit a utility pole, causing the pole to snap on the bottom and the wires to fall.
One child was on the bus during the accident, Cicero police said. They were evaluated by EMS per North Syracuse Central School District regulations.
There were no injuries and National Grid cut the wires from the pole, police said.
