Sun to return but a chill in the air for CNY

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) –Milder air that was over us to start the week is departing as a real fall-like chill heads into Central New York for Tuesday.  Find out below how cool it gets…

Snow to end the night for some

A stronger cold front blows through Monday night with some showers Monday evening followed by a little lake effect flurries southeast of Lake Ontario late Monday night into the start of Tuesday. No accumulation of snow is expected. Lows drop to between 35 and 40 for most.

November chill and sunshine set to return

Temperatures chill down to more seasonable levels for the middle of the week as shower chances diminish and sunshine returns.

It’s a slow, brisk and damp start to Tuesday though, with a few lingering lake rain showers changing to just flurries before ending shortly after sunrise Tuesday morning. The best chance for a little snow ends up in the hills south of Syracuse and the Tug Hill. Little or no accumulation is likely.

We expect some sun to develop for many Tuesday afternoon, but lake clouds will probably be stubborn across areas southeast of Lake Ontario, including in the Syracuse area.
