SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — One man was shot overnight on West Newell Street, according to Syracuse Police.

When police arrived at the 200 block of Newell Street at 1:44 Saturday morning, they found a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his stomach and leg.
The 35-year-old was transported to Upstate Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries which are considered non-life threatening.
