SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Generations-worth of art and dance is on display Saturday at Betts Branch library in Syracuse. The artwork is not limited to paintings. “Some do crafts, some do sewing, some do art, some do painting, it is all from their imagination, but it is all done by indigenous people,” said Joann Lazore, who has some pieces from her older relatives still hanging in the show. “They left us something to show,” she said. “You can see the years of the way it has changed, or it stayed the same and they passed it down, so you can see that.”
