OUTDOORS: Christmas Bird Count, NY State Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame, and Police on Patrol

A note from Chris Lajewski, Director of the Montezuma Audubon Center. Thank you for participating in the Montezuma Christmas Bird Count yesterday and many thanks to those that contributed to the potluck! Collectively, 30 birders found 82 species and 46,179 individuals, both are above the long-term averages of 76 species and 37,000 individuals. I was particularly impressed that we found 112 Bald Eagles and 851 Sandhill Cranes. WOW!
