SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A man was killed in a crash near Upstate Community Hospital early Friday morning. The Syracuse Police department identified the victim as 41-year-old James Froio. Police say around 12:15 a.m. Friday morning, Froio was driving his vehicle northbound on Valley Drive when he crossed over into the southbound lanes and crashed into a tree. Police say Froio was the only person in the vehicle.
