Syracuse, N.Y. – A driver who crashed into a tree Friday in the 1600 block of Valley Drive has died, Syracuse police said. The 41-year-old man, James Froio, was driving north around 12:21 a.m. when he swerved into the southbound lane before going off the road and crashing into a tree, police said.
