Imagine that you spent your life in a cozy home with your family, but one day you had to leave them and moved to a new place full of strangers (who can also be pretty noisy). Unfortunately, this has been Ceelie’s experience. Through no fault of her own, her previous family had to surrender her last April due to unexpected circumstances.
Ceelie is a four-year-old “All American Dog,” or “mutt,” but we prefer to describe her as a sweet girl who has been through a confusing life change and longs for stability and love.
The shelter can be a stressful place for pups who are used to quiet homes, so Ceelie may seem nervous or unsure in her kennel. However, she opens up and shows her true colors when she’s out on walks, in the visiting rooms, or in the play yard…
