SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Onondaga County Health Department released inspection reports for restaurants checked from January 5 to January 11.

One food service received a failure in their inspection:

  • Tru by Hilton Syracuse/Camillus – 116 Township Boulevard, Camillus

This restaurant had six violations with two in critical condition.

Improper cooling and refrigerated storage of potentially hazardous foods (critical): The inspector found a can of whipped dairy topping stored at the self-service breakfast counter without adequate cold holding, it was at 68 degrees Fahrenheit at 8:20 a.m. The can was partially surrounded by ice packs, which were no longer cold. The kitchen staff stated the product was placed out at the counter at 6 a.m. when breakfast service began.
