As we celebrate the awe-inspiring life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I reflect on his bodhisattva spirit—that of an enlightened being returning to this life to help others be free. He did not come from a culture that uses the word reincarnation, yet he preached about the interconnectedness of all of us.
