Ithaca woman found guilty on all charges for assault on Investigator Theetge

ELMIRA, N.Y. ( WETM ) — An Ithaca woman was found guilty on all charges on Friday and could face more than a decade behind bars for her involvement in the assault and injury of Chemung County Sheriff Investigator Mike Theetge.

Fatiuna Massaline faces a maximum of 15 years in prison after she was found guilty on Friday, March 14, on the charges of assault of a police officer, and assault: recklessly causing serious injury with a weapon, in the second degree.

The five-day trial ended after rounds of testimony and evidence presented to the jury, with Theetge and other witnesses taking the stand before the unanimous guilty verdict was reached…
