Gillette Road Middle School students, staff wear green in memory of classmate killed this week

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The students, faculty and staff of Gillette Road Middle School wore green on Friday in memory of their classmate, 11-year-old Jeremiah Huff, killed earlier this week.

Huff, a sixth grader at the middle school, was one of the two people shot by his dad, David Huff, on Monday.

“Jeremiah was well-loved by his teachers and classmates,” said North Syracuse Schools Superintendent Terry Ward on Monday. “He is described by his teachers as a friend to all and a lover of skiing and skateboarding.”

Jeremiah’s mom also referenced friends at school who will never forget him…
