SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Third graders from Dr. King School already know a thing or two about making their voices heard.
On Monday, they took a cue from the man who bears their school’s name and the father of the Civil Rights Movement and marched down to Syracuse City Hall to get a grocery store in their community.
Just across from their school sits a small convenience store, but the closest grocery store is more than a mile away. That’s a 23-mile walk for someone without a car, lugging groceries back home…
