Showers become much more scattered tonight, especially for the second half of the overnight. Lows tonight in the mid 40s, and temperatures rise overnight. Monday morning begins mostly cloudy but mild, temperatures in the mid 50s. A first round of showers and isolated thunderstorm arrive on Monday morning, quickly advancing across Central New York from approximately 7:30am – 9:30am.
Partly sunny skies develop behind the showers, and temperatures rise into the mid to upper 60s by early Monday afternoon. The entirety of the afternoon and early evening present the threat for strong to severe thunderstorms.
