Syracuse Man Dies After Shooting Incident with Police

Syracuse police confirmed that Treyvon Nellons, a 19-year-old man involved in a recent shooting incident, has died. The incident began last Thursday (March 27) when officers responded to a domestic call on Weiser Court. Nellons was reportedly involved in a dispute with his ex-girlfriend and had fired shots at her door before fleeing the scene.

According to CNY Central, officers later located Nellons on Amherst Avenue. As they approached him, he shot himself. Nellons was immediately taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries on Saturday (March 29).
