SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A double homicide suspect was hiding out at Upstate Community Hospital before New York State Police arrested him.
Per a spokesperson for the hospital, University Police said David Huff, 43, passed through the weapons detection system at 8:18 a.m. on March 18. University Police notified Public Safety of Huff, who was identified as a suspicious person, a short time after 9 a.m. Public Safety tracked Huff until he left the hospital.
Huff is accused of shooting and killing his son, Jeremiah Huff, 11 and his girlfriend, Yeraldith Tschudy, 32, with a shotgun at 128 Roney Rd. on the evening of March 17 in Syracuse’s Valley. Upstate Community Hospital is 2 miles west of Roney Road…
