A suspicious vehicle complaint in the early morning hours of April 17 led to a drug arrest and multiple traffic citations in the Town of Verona, according to the New York State Police.
Troopers from SP Oneida responded to Senn Road around 3:51 a.m. after receiving a report about a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, officers encountered a male driver and a female passenger inside the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view, prompting Troopers to have both occupants step out of the car.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a plastic container with a substance that tested positive as crystal methamphetamine. Kimberlee Pontello, 37, of Camillus, NY, admitted the drugs were hers and was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
