SYRACUSE, N.Y. — At 6 p.m. on Friday night, the Syracuse Housing Authority will hold a required public hearing on its draft five-year annual plan at its headquarters at 516 Burt St.
The plan provides a “ready source for interested parties,” regarding its operations, programs and services. The I-Team found the public hearing notice in a different section of the SHA website than where public meeting notices usually show up.
The 49-page plan outlines basic information about SHA, including 2,157 public housing units as of July, when its fiscal year begins. It also shows the $62 million in funding they expect to receive for housing people and continuing to improve the quality of existing housing stock, per the report…
