Christopher Dewitt, accused of killing 67-year-old Cynthia Stockwell with his vehicle in January, rejected a plea deal Thursday that would have carried a 7-to-21-year prison sentence, according to The Citizen .
His case will now move to a grand jury, Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci confirmed.
Dewitt allegedly sped through a red light on North Street, hitting Stockwell, who later died at Auburn Community Hospital.
