A former inmate at Auburn Correctional Facility pleaded not guilty Tuesday to assault charges for allegedly punching a correction officer last year, according to The Citizen. Quincy Lundy, 32, faces two counts of second-degree assault, each carrying up to seven years in prison.
Lundy, accused of injuring the officer during a March 2024 incident, was arraigned in Cayuga County Court and will return for another hearing on June 4. If convicted, any new sentence would be served consecutively to his current prison term.
