SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Governor Kathy Hochul signed the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget into law at a Southern Tier middle school on Friday morning.
The $254 billion budget is weeks over overdue, which is typical in New York State. The budget was due on April 1. Governor Hochul announced a general agreement on the budget was reached on April 28.
