Auburn man arrested after high-speed chase between counties

A pre-dawn pursuit that crossed county lines ended with the arrest of an Auburn man weeks after he allegedly fled from deputies during a domestic violence investigation.

Terrance D. Dexter was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree and issued multiple traffic tickets following his May 10 arrest, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

The charges stem from a March incident when deputies were alerted around 4:30 a.m. to a physical domestic dispute in the City of Auburn.
