Syracuse, N.Y. — A man stabbed a vehicle with a knife before getting into an altercation with officers responding to the 911 call, police said.
Around 2:24 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Iron Pier Apartments at 720 Van Rensselaer St. after a woman reported a man stabbed her vehicle with a knife, said Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse police.
