Syracuse Police Investigate Park Street Shooting

Syracuse police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Wednesday (May 28) on the city’s North Side. A 40-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen near 1012 Park Street, across from the Stop and Shop Market. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is in stable condition, according to Syracuse.com.

Officers responded to the scene around 2:12 p.m., closing off Park Street from Mary Street to East Division Street. Evidence was collected from the scene, including a Doge minivan with personal items and blood visible on the ground nearby.
