A Syracuse man was taken into custody on Wednesday after repeatedly failing to appear in court on criminal charges, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took 30-year-old Jeffrey Maddox into custody at the Victor Town Court after receiving him from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Maddox had an active bench warrant issued by the court in Victor.
Authorities say Maddox missed multiple court appearances related to his charges. He was processed and is currently being held at Ontario County Jail pending a CAP arraignment.
