Syracuse firefighters work quickly to extinguish fire on the South side

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse firefighters staying busy Saturday night, as they responded to a home on West Ostrander Avenue around 8:30 p.m.

The home suffered some roof damage, and part of the siding on the house melted.

The fire department says the fire was declared out in 20 minutes. No one was living in the home and it suffered fire, water and smoke damage…
