Driver charged with DWI after nearly striking state police cruiser in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y — A 30-year-old Syracuse man is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and several other traffic violations after allegedly almost hitting a New York State Police cruiser head-on.

On Sunday, at 2:41 a.m., a marked State Police vehicle was traveling on East Seneca Turnpike in Syracuse.
