CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR) — Former Cicero Town secretary Natalie VanEpps filed a human rights complaint against Town Supervisor Michael Aregano on June 10.
VanEpps filed a 13-page complaint against her former boss, alleging unlawful discrimination, retaliation, and a hostile work environment. She worked as Aregano’s secretary in 2022, when she recalls being “verbally berated” and having her intelligence questioned on numerous occasions.

VanEpps claimed Aregano would become more controlling of her in the work environment whenever she left her desk. VanEpps spoke with NewsChannel 9 in 2024, and she recounted one incident that occurred in the recently filed complaint.
“I would go to the bathroom too much,” VanEpps said. “I would have to get permission to go to the bathroom…it started to become very dehumanizing.”…
