SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A celebration was held outside Syracuse City Hall Friday to honor the refugees that have come to the city from all over the world in a special flag raising ceremony to recognize Annual World Refugee Day.
The event marks the beginning of a weekend-long celebration of the refugee and immigrant community, honoring their contributions, resilience, and achievements.
