Syracuse’s biggest jazz party returns for its 39th edition this week.
The 2025 Syracuse International Jazz Festival runs from June 25-29 with a lineup that includes New Orleans great Trombone Shorty, three Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, swing, R&B and more. The music is priceless, and all of the Jazz Fest concerts are free to attend.
The fun starts with local musicians performing club shows at multiple venues on opening night Wednesday, June 25. Highlights include Sam Wynn’s neo jazz quintet from 5-7 p.m. at Al’s Wine & Whiskey, the Dave Hanlon-Andrew Carroll-Jeff Martin Trio at The Fitz from 6-8 p.m., the SAMMY-winning group E.S.P. at Maxwells of Hanover Square from 7-9 p.m., and the Bougie Brass Band at The Song & Dance from 9-11 p.m…
