More than 3,000 without power in Onondaga County due to equipment failure

Syracuse, N.Y. — More than 3,000 people are without power in Lysander Tuesday night after National Grid experienced an equipment failure.

The exact cause of the failure had not been determined at this time, according to National Grid spokesman Jared Paventi.

“We are cognizant of the temperatures outside and are doing everything we can to restore service as quickly and safely as possible this evening,” Paventi said…
