SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Road crews in Syracuse are working under extreme heat conditions as they mill the top layer of Green and Lodi Streets, with plans to repave the roads soon.
The city is taking steps to ensure the safety of workers by providing water and encouraging them to find ways to beat the heat.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, has issued guidelines to keep workers safe in such conditions.
