LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A Liverpool man has been arrested after being accused of stealing $13,000 while employed at a Royal Auto Group in Cortland County.
On June 30, New York State Police at Homer arrested 40-year-old Jason Allen, of Liverpool, on the following charges:
- Class “D” felony of Forgery in the second degree
- Class “D” felony of Grand Larceny in the third degree
According to the release, the arrest stems from an investigation that began on June 19, accusing Allen of embezzling over $13,000 while employed at a Cortland County auto dealership. Allen is accused of signing referral checks, that were intended to go to customers, over to himself.
