SYRACUSE, N.Y.(WSYR-TV)– An arrest has been made in the Onondaga Park Pool Shooting that occurred on June 24, 2025.
On June 24th, 2025, around 1:59 p.m.,Syracuse Police Officers responded to 531 Roberts Avenue, the Onondaga Park Pool, for reports of a shooting with injuries. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old male who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where, despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The victim was identified as Adhon Thomas.
After the incident, an investigation began by CID Homicide Unit detectives, where several people were interviewed, and an extensive neighborhood and citywide canvass was conducted. In addition, several search warrants were done, and the evidence recovered was processed and thoroughly analyzed…
