Food vendors battle the heat during Syracuse’s weekend of festivals

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Summertime in Central New York means hot, sizzling temperatures and tasty food options during festival season. As vendors gather together for the Pizza, Pasta & Wing Festival and the St. Elias Middle Eastern Festival, they find themselves working on their feet for hours on end.

“You kind of just forget about the heat, and go about your business, stay busy, and put a smile on,” Ethan Stack, co-owner of Wingnutz Buffalo, said.
