Syracuse pair arrested on drugs, weapons charges in Massena stop

MASSENA, N.Y. (WWTI) – Two people from Syracuse are facing drug and weapons charges after a Tuesday traffic stop in St. Lawrence County.

According to the Massena Police Department, they arrested 25-year-old Montez Raymond and 26-year-old Deion Delee after they initiated a traffic stop on East Orvis Street in the village of Massena.

Here is what the duo was charged with:

  • Second-degree criminal possession of a firearm (Loaded weapon)
  • Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine over two ounces)
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (fentanyl)
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (cocaine)
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (methamphetamine over 1/8 ounce)

A loaded 9 millimeter handgun and nine 9mm bullets were also allegedly seized during the traffic stop and subsequent search.

Raymond and Delee were both arraigned in the Town of Massena Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail without bail…
