Syracuse, N.Y. — For 50 years, Brooklyn Pickle has stuffed sandwiches bigger than most people’s appetites. On Thursday, they’re slicing prices instead.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Syracuse-born sandwich shop is offering $5 full-sized subs all day Thursday at every location. That’s the same sandwich that normally takes two hands and half a lunch break to finish.
They’re also offering 50-cent chips, pickles and fountain drinks, and selling $5 anniversary T-shirts. It’s a thank-you, they say, to the customers who’ve packed their dining rooms and takeout lines for five decades…
