Syracuse, N.Y. — A woman was taken to a hospital Tuesday after she was found unconscious in a fire at the Grant Village Apartments in Syracuse.
Firefighters found the woman on the floor near the fire in her living room, said Syracuse Deputy Fire Chief Nick Pagano.
Firefighters pulled her from the apartment and began treating her for smoke inhalation, Pagano said. She was conscious and breathing when EMTs took her by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital for further evaluation, he said…
