Small N.Y. liquor store sells $17 million Lotto ticket

Syracuse, N.Y. – A jackpot-winning ticket for the New York Lotto worth $17 million was sold in Syracuse.

The ticket for Wednesday’s drawing was sold at Polge Wine and Liquors, 434 West Seneca Turnpike, the lottery said Thursday morning.

Store owner Tim Polge said he doesn’t know who the winner is, but that the winner bought the ticket at around 3:32 p.m. Wednesday…
