SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) — Many are taking note of Gen Z-ers, who often appear in social settings or interacting in public with a blank, expressionless look on their face, known as the “Gen Z Stare.”

“I think, part of why there’s this craze around it is because I think some of the older generations might be misinterpreting it,” Dr. Monique Winnett, a clinical psychologist with St. Joseph’s Health, said.
