Rare Moose Sighting Has Town Buzzing, Closure in New York State

There is a moose that is getting national attention after the moose provided a rare opportunity for tourists in New York State.

The moose actually caused a little bit of a problem and concern and then the DEC had to get involved and shut down a trail because it would NOT leave. The DEC shut down the trail a couple of weeks ago and it is last reported that the trail is still shut down because the moose will just not simply leave.

The moose is showing signs of some really unusual behavior and New York State DEC officials think that the moose might have some sort of illness. They returned back to the spot where the moose was last week, which was nearly 6 weeks after the original spotting of the moose happened along the Tupper Lake Trail. The New York State DEC officials determined that they will keep the trail closed.
